As the world celebrate this year’s water day, the Niger state government yesterday said only 19,000 out of the 57,000 water connections in the state are active. According to the State Commissioner for Water Resources, Alhaji Yusuf Sulaiman, the deficiency would be addressed in the coming weeks, as the government is set to increase the internally generated revenue of the ministry.
