Former Tottenham forward, Jermaine Jenas has told Belgium players that they caused their own downfall in Qatar.

Belgium could not make it out of the Group F of the ongoing World Cup, with their goalless draw with Croatia on Thursday confirming their early exit. The results left Belgium stars such as Romelu Lukaku, Kevin de Bruyne, Eden Hazard, Toby Alderweireld and Timothy Castagne dejected.

“Distraught players in that Belgium side but when they look at themselves in the mirror, they’ll realise it just was not good enough and that is why they’re out.”
