As a result of the alarming proliferation of counterfeit products in the market, which pose a significant challenge to manufacturers and consumers in Nigeria, Verisafety is set to provide free product authentication and anti-counterfeiting labels to 100 manufacturing companies across the country.

The firm announced this Corporate Social Responsibility initiative in commemoration of the World Consumer Rights Day yesterday.

The Business Manager, Ms. Chiamaka Onwuama. said: “Verisafety is on a mission to protect both manufacturers and consumers from falling victim to counterfeit goods.” While noting that the CSR initiative reflects the company’s dedication to promoting consumer safety and promoting ethical business practices, she insisted that by empowering consumers to make informed purchasing decisions, the firm is helping to create a safer marketplace for everyone.Before flagging, please keep in mind that Disqus does not moderate communities.
