IATA’s Director General, Willie Walsh, said the strong start to 2024 continued in February with all markets except North America reporting double-digit growth in passenger traffic. African airlines’ saw a 20.7 per cent year-on-year increase in demand. Capacity was up 22.1 per cent year-on-year. The load factor fell to 74.0 per cent .

North American carriers saw a 16.0 per cent year-on-year increase in demand. Capacity increased 17.6 per cent year-on-year, and the load factor fell to 77.7 per cent Soulcomms, a premier Strategic Communications and Engagement Agency, has announced the appointment of Ugochukwu Uwajeh as its new Chief Operating Officer and the unveiling of a special logo to celebrate two decades of exceptional service
