Wike ally resigns from Fubara’s cabinet for FG appointment

Another Commissioner in Rivers State, Chukwuemeka Woke, loyal to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja, Nyesom Wike, has resigned his appointment. Woke, who before his registration on Thursday was the Commissioner for Special Duties in the state.

“His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, has graciously appointed me to serve in his government as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority.
