Lawan spoke just before President Muhammadu Buhari’s presented the budget proposal to the lawmakers at a joint session in Abuja. “The National Assembly is again ready to pass the 2021 budget before the end of the year by the grace of God,” the Senate President said.“This will continue to enable planning and enhanced productivity and efficiency in the management and application of our resources.”The proposed budget pegged capital expenditure at 29 percent and is based on a deficit of N4.48 trillion.
These are corrupt politicians who just allocated 128 billion naira to themselves while asking common citizens to make sacrifices. The 128b naira allocated to NASS is more than what was allocated to health and education combined. Nigeria belongs to politicians and their cronies!
So dey can have their share of 128billion...
So u guys will cash out
Why won't they when they have the highest allocation INEC allocation is more than basic health allocation...so INEC is more important than the electorate!
No need to worry because we already know the reason; the 9th assembly is a house of puppets, a rubber-stamp legislative house
bigQuestion
Mr senator, don't lie this is the reason.. aggregate of UBEC and Basic health don't stay close to the money NASS will earn. Hunnn, I hope we are heading somewhere ?
Lawan. The. Rubber. Stamp wants to pass the unfundable 2021 budget before year end....what could go wrong...😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
They are more committed into signing the appropriation bills before the end of the year than seeing it having a positive effect on the citizens. Misplaced priority.
