Why FG hasn’t declared bandits as terrorists after court order –Malami - Punch Newspapers

The Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami , says the Federal Government is yet to officially designate bandits as terrorists because the government is following international best practices.

Justice Taiwo Taiwo of the Federal High Court in Abuja on November 26, 2021, had granted an ex parte application by the Federal Government for Yan Bindiga and Yan Ta’adda but the regime of the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari , has not done so over a month after. Speaking on Tuesday, Malami said the government acted swiftly in declaring IPOB and Boko Haram as terror groups because of the “threats to lives and properties they have caused in the nation.”

Keep pampering them till the take over the North....This same government was quick to proscribed ipob terrorist but now following due process when it has to do with the North.... karma won't forgive you people..

But it took you less than 24 hours to declare ipob a terror group

But it take the Fulani caliphate 24 hours to declare IPOB after the emergency court order, but it's taking them forever to declare Fulani killers terrorist after court order. Mad People Everywhere!

Because FG cannot declare itself terrorist.

Malami says: Because the government is following international best practices. What a flimsy excuse. But they are quick to tagged IPOB such name. They want to wait while their people to sh€d more blood before doing the needful. Despite the people dy!ng yet FG feels reluctant.
