‘Why COVID-19 patient died in Lagos’

The Lagos State Government has ascribed the death of a 55-year-old Nigerian to the strong immune suppression drugs he was taking and his inability to provide full account of his travel history.Announcing the first COVID-19 death in Lagos on Saturday, April 4, Prof Akin Abayomi, the Commissioner for health, said the man, whose identity was not revealed, had a kidney transplant seven years ago, adding that he was also diabetic.
