Why cotton farmers target 300,000 hectares this year

Recently, the Federal Government released two high-yielding BT cotton seeds varieties for cultivation this year. The release is viewed by many as a positive development that would kick-start a revolution, which will also be a game-changer for the ginning, textile and garment factories in Nigeria.
