n Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, losing weight because he was working hard to ensure security in the country.when asked about security challenges across Nigeria and if there would be a different approach in tackling the issue.

He was quoted as saying: “I have just seen the IG, I think he’s losing weight, so I think he is working very hard.”Durotoye, reacting on his Instagram page described Buhari’s statement as being insensitive to the plight of Nigerians who have been experiencing killings and insecurity in the country.Durotoye wrote: ” I am dumbfounded! No, Mr. President Buhari, weight-loss is not a Key Performance Indicator and the apparent weight-loss of the IGP is not a sign of hard work.

“If this was intended to be a joke, then you clearly have underestimated the gravity of the issues of insecurity in our nation today. “I am sure that the victims and those who have had to pay huge ransoms for the release of their loved ones are not laughing at this distasteful statement. “Indeed, all those who daily live in fear of abduction either by police, kidnappers, terrorists or herdsmen do not find this funny at all. Mr. President, we demand an apology for this hugely insensitive statement.PS: This has nothing to do with POLITICS, this has everything to do with LEADERSHIP.God save our nation.”

That can only happen if u can prove Buhari is doing nothing about security and IGP is not working hard also, otherwise this is just a political statement.

😃😃😃. Does bro. Fela live in nigeria?

We need somebody like Fela Durotoye as Nigeria president, very sharp guy. God will bring our dream through one day

Ode leleyi sha

This guy is a brainer

it is obvious PMB is not taking Nigerians serious. Three questions were asked and there as no answers; the only one he seems to have answer to was a complete mess.

It is a reckless statement and he must apologize to the entire Nigerians. I couldn’t ever have imagined such statement upon our support for his re-election. Such “joke” is too expensive and uncalled for. He should address the nation and put up a mechanism to end the killing now

Mr man go and sit down, you have nothing to say.

Lol what d difference btw Lossing sleep n Lossing weight?

Why should PMB apologize for weight loss, dont you have anything to comment on?

Hmmmm

lol Nigerians are funny always wnt to heard but no head to initiate dvlpmnt

🙄
