Where I Failed As Anambra Governor, Succeed There As Professor Who Is More Intelligent Than Me, Peter Obi Replies Governor SoludoObi, a former governor of the state, urged Soludo, being a professor of Economics, to do better in tackling the state's socioeconomic challenges.
Obi stated this on Tuesday at the 2022 Lagos Business School Alumni Conference in Lagos while reacting to Soludo’s comments that the investments he left in government have depreciated in value. The governor was reacting to attacks by Obi’s supporters, known as Obidients, that trailed his earlier statement that Obi’s investments as governor of Anambra were now worth next to nothing.
He said, “He remains my brother, we are very close. I remain prayerful for him. For other things which I didn’t succeed, God has given him opportunity to do it and succeed.
And now he wants to be the president of a nation?
