What shall Buhari’s legacy be? - Punch Newspapers

The gist mainly was around the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari ’s legacy when he hands over in about 21 months.

I had written in response as follows: “…from my understanding of Nigerian politics, Buhari does not have more than the next one and a half, maximum two years, to prove himself and show Nigerians why he or his party deserves re-election in 2019. The President will do well to know that by the end of 2017, most politicians in the country, no matter what office they hold, will think of nothing but the prospects that 2019 holds for them.

The development of infrastructure is critical to every economy, so it is a trite expectation from the government. Alongside that, however, the functions and sustenance of such structures depend on many other factors- one of which is the quality of human capital. The people of a country must not just understand the cost and importance of these structures to the extent that they accept ownership. That is in addition to the projects throwing up as many employment opportunities as possible.

It gets worse when you remember that Nigerian doctors are on their second industrial action in four months. The fact that the President, who pledged to expand Nigeria’s economy and increase the source of revenue, has repeatedly contributed to the N1.5trn annual expenditure on medical tourism belies his commitment to transformation.

TERRORIST

Sorrow tears and bl**d

Count all the negatives that have befallen the country since he assumed power and that says it all. I thought his first time as president was the worst , never knew he can add to being worst of the worstest, if anything like that exists.

Sorrow, fear and blood.

Just as he is remembered for his deeds in the 80s. This one go join like “I remember when Buhari was Nigeria president” when bandit and hunger took over the country.

His plan is to finish us all, but I and my friends Will survive and Go to Thanksgiving by may 2023, after that we will receive certificate of survival from the ministry of health and finance:

Empowering bandits

It's even better we don't remember him at all not to talk of legacy

We all know the answer.

Author will tell.

The 3 groups of people in Nig, the idiots, the tribal champions and citizens, Without mixing words PMB is a tribal champion and that’s where his legacy lies.

As a tyrant and wicked person

Your guess is as good as it's

Legacy of “from top to bottom” in all aspects.

He would be remembered as a failed leader who was able to successfully create division btw Northern & Southern Nigeria and ally of bandits, armed herdsmen.i don't ask opinion & keep your sentiments.

Bihari don't give a Fch about Legacy... Ask him this, he will reply, is he in Phi D Phi?

Total failure

The worst in the history of presidents

Legacy of 'next level'.

It’s will be document as a sad period in history. Everyone had a challenge that he made worse.

Calamity

Made Nigeria poverty capital of the world value cows more than human life

Watin concern me that's his wahala with his ancestors oo

It is what it is

It shall be what it is.
