The Kano State Fire Service on Monday confirmed that a 15-year-old boy died in a well in Fagge LGA of the State.
The Fire Service Spokesman, Alhaji Saidu Mohammed, confirmed the death to the News Agency of Nigeria in Kano.Mohammed told NAN that though the fire service responded to the distress call over the incident, firemen could only retrieve the body of the teenager from the well. “We received a distress call from one Mai’unguwa Yakubu at 5:37 p.m., that a boy had fallen into a well.The official said that how the teenager died was being investigated.
