What do Nigerians think about the call by the southern governors on President Buhari to convoke a National Conference to address issues bedeviling the country?

The governors of the 17 southern states in Nigeria after meeting held on Tuesday in Asaba, Delta State, called on the federal government to convoke a national dialogue as a matter of urgency and the challenges of insecurity, among others. Though, the call for Confab is not the first time in the country; here is what Nigerians feel about the latest call.I will only support the convocation of a national conference if the final resolutions reached will be implemented.

It's longover due for d national integrity & d integration Unity of our souvenir country, as for how many years since d past 3sets of governance as shown that 9ja has been bedeviled badly . Needed a stringent & cumulus totally, be eradicated.

National conference is the best way to straightening the unity of this country. Remember that North worked against Jonathan second term ambition, because of 2014 Confab. As long as the structure of government remain the way it is, Nigeria will remain the same

All they need to do is to grant financial autonomy to the local government, legislature and judiciary and implement resource control by all regions which will guarantee transparency, equity and Prudence anything short of that will continue to stir unrest and needles agitation

National conference is not the answer cos so many of such exercise had been done in the past and it's outcome were never implemented many white papers are lying waste cos of the insincerity of our leaders THEY KNOW WHAT TO DO BUT REFUSED TO

It is inevitable if Nig is going to remain one, else we are postponing the evil day.

Fulani is only interested in bring war to the people but they will have themselves to blame when this war will escalate

The southern governors are just waking up to reality or just trying to follow the dance steps of their people to deceive them. When a tenant stays too long in a house,he or she becomes a problem for the house owner

They have 51 senators. They should start their agitations with the 51 senators presenting the bills for amendment of the constitution ( for restructuring) and police reform. They are behaving as if they are helpless; they are not. They are just playing to the gallery.

Black lives matters is on going in the world, when will British end killing of Christians and Jewish religion in Nigeria by dividing what they join together to in-rich them self, Biafrans lives matters,international community Support Biafra Referendum.

We Nigerians no longer need the president's speech or whatsoever, the speech is useless let's continue with the agitation. End Nigeria period.

They should stylishly track him to France,catch him and give him serious beating like ivory coast president then he will have sense .

That'll be another waste of viable resources that could be used somewhere else to the betterment of Nigerians. The governors always claim and have the constitutional right to be the chief security Officers of their respective states, they're those to take care of the mess.

They should table their grievances to nassnigeria thru their elected representatives and quit playing ostriches. Why do I think the call for national conference is next on their wailing menu?
