The Taraba State government has resolved to work with relevant agencies to ensure that businesses operating around border communities across the state

Governor Agbu Kefas made this known on Thursday in Jalingo, noting that this can only be achieved when his administration strengthens its collaboration with federal security agencies to ensure a coordinated effort in securing the borders and addressing cross-border issues.

He said security in Taraba remains a priority, promising that his administration will enhance border surveillance across the state. Noting that his government recognizes the importance of responsible border business practices to foster economic growth and enhance trade, he vowed to establish trade facilitation centres at key border points to streamline the movement of goods and people.
