We will drag Buhari to court over railways to Niger Republic – Rights group

HURIWA also threatened to sue President Muhammadu Buhari in order to stop the multibillion Naira project.

The Federal Government had yesterday approved a $1,959,744,723.71 contract for a rail line that would link Nigeria to Niger Republic. “Therefore, we condemn this venture as wasteful because of the danger of being used to import weapons that will set Nigeria ablaze. Whereas there are no such rail lines linking Lagos to Enugu and Port Harcourt or Maiduguri to Enugu, President Buhari is investing almost $2bn to build railways for terrorists and bandits to flood into Nigeria and destabilize the country.

South East region was denied extension of railway project under Minister Rotmi Amechi in Buhari's regime and nothing happened, today we hear Buhari award railway project to Niger Republic. We have no leaders in south East but self representives in the government

Hmm! Nonsense

This evil project must be terminated. Buhari is now desperate to fulfil all his promises.

He may not even be aware that he has crossed the border Mr. UNAWARE Nigeria is almost at the virge of collapse pray for speedy elapse of his tenure

He needs to be impeached

Lets us know how we can support you from the diaspora..you have to fight this injustice and abuse of office by the foreign president Buhari forced on Nigeria for 4 year any election rigging expert oshiomole

If we don’t speak out now we all will be consumed. This government is evil believe it or not

Please let have it done, Nigerian trust has been bridged, agenda so suspicious, while Western borders are closed, you're bridging of s with northern neighbors? You sold out so cheap MBuhari on this move, the intentions are too gleaning sir!! Retract now sir and buried it for life

Stop misinforming d few further.

The reality of General MBuhari’s railway to Niger Republic is that the money is from a Chinese loan. Niger will enjoy the benefit. Nigeria will bear the cost. If we cant pay, China will come for Nigeria’s foreign reserves, not Niger’s. Think deeply about this!

That man is not a Nigerian, his trying to help his own people and build their economy, if you forget your roots Buhari doesn't

He must reverse this uncommon nonsense project.

It's a pity that Nigerians have not heard a word from NASS, we thank the civil societies for the boldness to tackle the Presidency.

The railway should be a business enterprise by now, not a government agency and can go anywhere in West Africa.

This buhari regime is very though.. Imagine the hunger in the country No job🇳🇬 Masses suffering everywhere and you're spending such huge money to other land🙄

HURIWA looks more Niger than Nigeria

It would attract trade between the two countries. Niger, Nigeria one family

We don't have a railway from Lagos to kano but he wants to build one from Kano to Niger 🇳🇪,, common sense is not common in this country 😏 😒

Has anybody checked who owns that REFINERY in Niger

That's their largese for voting massively for him. Meanwhile there's no boarder between Nigeria and Niger republic.

We will soon know his relationship with Niger Republic. A good move guys.

Misplaced parioty.

This una presido no go kill person o 😂🤣🤣. So they have money to extend railway to Niger Republic. But here they want to kill Nigerians with tax.

He really need to tell us the meaning of that rubbish. Southerners are crying that there's no road, he's busy approving billions for railway to Niger Republic

Continue dragging. He owns the judges

You and who

What is right about the wrong group. Please start from supreme court.

Hope d result will be positive

Drag him oh
