“We have been able to employ about 1000 young people and we believe there’s no reason for anyone to be in need of a job.”

As the country continues to battle with unemployment and under-employment in Nigeria, Yoshwork, an online employment platform has been launched its operations in Nigeria with the aim of tackling the problem. While unemployment in Nigeria presently stands at 23.1 per cent and projected to reach 33.5 percent by 2020, under-employment rate in the country stands at 40.1 percent.

The aim, according to promoters, is to get young people, including students, legally and gainfully employed for part time and holiday jobs, while creating an additional and sustainable stream of income for employees.
