Illicit drugs are difficult to get, because of that they have become very expensive.“Although our borders are porous, there are professionals who have licences to keep these drugs.“They could be in their homes, but not on the premises where they operate.”
Gonzuk pleaded with the state government to always invite NAFDAC to its security council meetings, saying being part of the meetings would help the agency. He said, “Gombe State should involve us in its security meetings, Bauchi has adopted it. This will help us to share information. We will be very glad to operate across the three senatorial districts in the state with the support of offices and additional vehicles to enhance logistics.
