We’ll set Lagosians free from slavery—AD chair vanguardngr.com vanguardnews

Ajayi spoke to newsmen during AD’s rally in Lagos tagged Walk For Salis, which started from Agege and ended at Alausa, Ikeja, for the party’s Lagos State governorship candidate, High Chief Owolabi Salis.

According to Ajayi, “we are going into this election to win and not to play. We want to take Lagosians out of slavery with a government of the people.“A government that cannot provide the grassroots with basic amenities is a failed one. Education, housing and health are the people’s rights. If you cannot let them have these, it is not governance but slavery. AD is here to provide freedom.”

Also speaking at the rally, Ikeja council Chairman of AD, Mr. Bakare Garuba, said Lagosians should expect good development with AD in power, as Salis, if voted in as governor, will concentrate on the needs of the people. Garuba pointed out that Lagosians lack water, while the schools are in poor condition, adding that AD, a welfarist party, would bring governance to the grassroots.

The Walk With Salis rally started from Araromi Street in Agege, through Arigbenla, Capitol, Moshalashi Alhaja, Guinnesss, Oba Akran and terminated at Alausa.
