Determined to ensure security of lives and property in Ogun, the state governor, Dapo Abiodun, has reiterated that his administration would continue to

support operations of security agencies with logistics and equipment that would be necessary to improve their operations in the state.

He said that it is the belief of his administration that partnership between government and the private sector would help to drive the development of the country. The governor disclosed that his administration launched the Lagos-Ogun Joint Development Commission to tackle insecurity among other issues, as well as with the Oyo State government to tackle insecurity at the border areas, noting that his administration opted to do so because of the status of Ogun as the Gateway State.

He explained that his administration has made job creation an important part of the ‘Building the Future Together’ Agenda of his administration, adding his government has created a policy that would ensure that all projects executed by his administration are done through direct labour, thereby engaging and occupying the people.
