Health Minister Prof. Isaac Adewole before the Senate on Tuesday. Twitter image The Minister of Health, Prof.

Isaac Adewole, has suggested that medical students who must proceed on housemanship as part of their training should not have any problem with placement.

One of such questions was raised by Senator Sam Egwu , who had asked the minister, “The area that worries me is that of the medical students who graduate from medical schools and have nowhere to do their houseman-ship. How do we make sure our medical students always get where to practice?” Meanwhile, Prof. Adewole has condemned what he described as the “uncontrolled manner” in which state governments have been erecting heath facilities in their respective domains.

“My advice is to let us stop building new structures. At the last count, we had 30,000 places all over the country; what we want to do is make 10,000 work.

Without water etc what has been done . I read the deplorable state of ABUTH by Sen Sani what have you done. Nigeria health care needs a total over all and urgent intervention. A country without a PET CT, people come from Taraba, kogi ,Niger ,Kaduna for MRI in Abuja. Unacceptable

Conditions. I have doctors 5years post primary who cannot get places of residency despite many specialists retiring and some leaving. You cannot threaten the states in trying to give healthcare to their people. The tertiary ones under you without light infested by rat reptiles

Dear minister I totally marvel at your discus , that you have enough spaces for housemanship and also enough specialists. The average time frame to get a housejob post graduation is 1year, we are in dire need of specialists as many have left Nigeria for better living working

Update and expand the teaching hospitals. It may be YOU who may have needs of this facility in an emergency.

That minister once said not all of them MDs will end up practicing. He said some of them will go back to the farm. Well, here's news for him... those MDs are leaving for UK and US.

Then create space for the remaining 500 or must you continue to reaming with just 4000?

This is a big lie

It took me 8 months b4 I finally a placement ....it's by ' who know person'

Really? 😏😶

Hear ooo another animal talk🎶🎶🎶🎵🎵🎵

But Ngige said we have enough. Why not export these doctors na?

Is this true Onahi_

Just negodi

Where do you get your Statistics from.

Stop the lying
