The chairman is believed to be referring to Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, who alongside some governors on his side, had laid demands to the party’s leadership to resolve the lingering crisis – including the resignation of Ayu. Ayu described Shekarau as a team player who is ready to work with other members to ensure victory for the party at the state and federal levels.
