The Taraba State Concerned Citizens’ Forum has again expressed dismay at the alleged manner the Senator representing the Central Senatorial zone of the State, Yusuf A.Yusuf has continued to frustrate the efforts of the Federal Government and the North East Development Commission .

Citing the numerous relief materials issued out to the people of the State through the Senator, by the NEDC, the group expressed sadness that the Senator, instead of distributing them to the beneficiaries, had continued to hoard the items. They said “it may interest you to know with greatest dismay and disappointment in the personality of Senator Yusuf Abubakar Yusuf that NEDC has since last two years distributed relief food materials such as rice, beans, maggi, supergethi, macaronic,Turkey oil, palm oil, maize floor, garri, sugar etc. for the less privileged and the victims of insurgency across the zone through him.

“It may also interest you to know with bleeding heart that the items are about to expire or get damaged by the environmental condition of the stores, while the target beneficiaries are floating within the space of hunger and social insecurity.”
