Warring communities in Wurkun and Karinjo in Karim-Lamido local government council of Taraba State have begun moves to return peace to the area.
The peace moves were facilitated by the state governor, Agbu Kefas, through a twenty-six-man committee put in place to resolve the crisis in the area. The National President of the Wurkun Development and Cultural Association, Wilfred Kwanchi and his counterpart from Karinjo, Hamman Adama Adamu, agreed not to leave any stone unturned in preventing a further outbreak of crises in their communities and the council as a whole.
Leader of the Committee, Inuwa Bakari on his part said the governor will only bring the much-desired growth to the council when the people eschew all forms of crisis and embrace peace.
