The VC stated this while speaking at the 3rd matriculation ceremony of postgraduate students of the institution which held at the institution’s main campus on Saturday.
Essien who was represented by the deputy Vice Chancellor, Academics, Prof. Umoren Umoren said post graduate studies globally were anchored on research, adding that the measure of greatness in a scientific idea is the extent to which it stimulates thought and open lines of research. He said that the institution had put in place strategies to ensure that best practices in post graduate teaching, learning and research were upheld.
