Blinken would begin his trip in Nairobi, where he would meet with Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Raychelle Omamo.

The United States Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, will visit Nigeria, Kenya and Senegal between November 15 and 20, 2021.

A statement by the US Embassy in Abuja on Friday noted that Blinken would, during the visit, advance US-Africa collaboration on shared global priorities, including ending the COVID-19 pandemic and building back to a more inclusive global economy, combating climate crisis, revitalising democracies and advancing peace and security.

“The secretary will deliver a speech on US-Africa policy in the capital of Africa’s largest democracy. Additionally, the secretary will engage with Nigerian entrepreneurs in the digital sector. “The secretary will conclude his trip in Dakar, where he will meet with President Macky Sall and Foreign Minister Aïssata Tall Sall to reaffirm the close partnership between our two countries. Given President Sall’s upcoming African Union chairmanship, Secretary Blinken looks forward to discussing regional issues and shared values.”

But buhari is in South Africa !

There is no pandemic ...go back home... Debacle

Debacle

US & the West don’t care abt terrorism if their interest is not affected. African l’ders see their licence to office in total loyalty to foreign interest. With free flow of nt’l resources, the West will keep absolute silence to atrocities African l’ders unleash on their own pple.

But Buhari is not around, tell the US secretary to come back later

What's covid-19 to compare Hunger? Please talk what we understand here.

Which pandemic Is the insecurity we are facing not worse than COVID? Mtchew

Terrorists, the police, herdsmen, unknown gunmen, etc. kill more people than COVID-19! Let's put a stop to the hypocrisy, please!

What is COVID-19 insecurity kwanu biko...? America you too.. nawao..

😂 😂

Insecurity in Nigeria not caused by Covid-19, it's cause by the incomepetent leaders, injustice and the nepotistic appointment of incompetent Ministers, that you wouldn't appoint as school prefects even at their age.

All these so called western world leaders/world powers don't really care about what Africans go through on daily basis, US secretary of state visiting Nigeria is not for the interest of Nigerians, Covid 19 is not killing Nigerians as much as fulani bandits are. BiafraExitnow.

Blind gov of America 🚶🚶

don’t borrow money even if he beg you with his life !

There are much more pressing issues in Nigeria, Covid is the least of them. These sickos would never leave Africa alone, we have our own worries, terrorism, hunger, insecurely, bad governance, malaria etc. Let's fix ourselves, these guys have their own interests, not yours.
