The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has commenced investigation to unravel the event that triggered unrest in Dei Dei, area of Abuja on

DAILY POST had reported that a material market along Kubwa-Zuba expressway, was attacked by hoodlums who were reportedly protesting the killing of a woman who was crushed to death after she fell from a commercial motorbike.

A statement by the command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Josephine Adeh, said the Commissioner of Police, CP Babaji Sunday had deployed tactical and intelligence assets of the command to the area. “Consequent upon the above, the Police in a concerted effort with other State apparatus upon arrival at the scene, managed the uproar preventing further disintegration of law and Order.
