A young final year student of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, UNN identified as Chukwuemeka Akachi has committed suicide.
It is learned that Akachi consumed two bottles of a poisonous substance and it was the second time he would be attempting suicide in recent times.
Tears drip down my eyes. May his soul rest in peace. I am a mental health nurse. A couple of years ago I wanted to set up a mental health voluntary service in Nigeria. This a wake up call for me.
