An Igbosere Magistrates’ Court in Lagos on Monday remanded an unemployed man, Sunday Ademola, in prison custody for allegedly threatening two pedestrians with a machete and robbing them of two phones worth N410,000.
He remanded the defendant in prison custody for 30 days pursuant to Section 264 of the Administrative of Criminal Justice Law of Lagos State. Prosecuting Sergeant Friday Mameh said the defendant allegedly committed the offences at about 11pm, on August 23, at Guaranty Trust Bank Plc, Igbo Efon in Eti-Osa area of Lagos.
