The Lokoja Local Government Area Transition Committee Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, has ordered the demolition of an uncomplicated building in the Lokoja metropolis suspected to be a hideout for criminally minded people.

gathered that the building, which is situated in Old Market, a suburb of Lokoja metropolis, was pulled down on Tuesday afternoon by the local government vigilante group. The building, according to the council boss, posed a security threat to the residents, who believed that it had been a den for hardened criminals selling illicit drugs.
