The United Kingdom Royal Family has disclosed that the coronation ceremony of His Majesty, King Charles III will be held on May 6, 2023. The Royal Family made this known via a Twitter post on Tuesday evening. King Charles III will be crowned alongside the Queen Consort at Westminster Abbey at the weekend, Buckingham Palace has announced. 'The Coronation of His Majesty The King will take place on Saturday 6 May 2023 at Westminster Abbey.

The queen had been dogged by health challenges since last October that left her struggling to walk and stand. The group in a statement made it clear that it would not mourn the Queen who many, especially the Westerners regarded as the Queen of the world.
