The Lagos State branch of the University of Ibadan Alumni Association (UIAA) has proposed promotion of financial investment in economy, focus on increasing inventors, infrastructural development and formulation of requisite fiscal policies as initiatives to drive Nigeria’s post-COVID-19 economic recovery.

The measures were highlighted at a roundtable discussion to help chart a roadmap for the country to navigate the economy out of the pandemic woods.

Also, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs, Mrs. Kikelomo Sanyaolu, representative of the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Olusola Hazmat, applauded the association for creating an enabling platform to discuss economic growth of the country.
