The Police in Lagos State have arrested a 21-year-old 200-level student of Lagos State University of Education, Ijaninkin, Ayodele Balogun and his friend, Dennis Okunomo, a 21-year-old student of National Institute of Information Technology (NIIT) for faking their abduction in Lagos.

According to Hundeyin, Balogun’s father, who is a driver in a company, informed the management of the firm to assist him raise the funds, but they were unwilling to give him money. Rather, they told him that the Police must investigate it. “So, the father was scared and informed the company. The company alerted the staff and they started closing earlier and got more security men.

Minister of Federal Capital Territory , Nyesom Wike, is set to soon roll out the first set of Transport For All buses to curb the incidence of one-chance syndicates in the territory.
