Kaduna Police Command has rescued two persons, while 12 others were abducted by bandits in Kachia local government area of Kaduna State.
He stated that on the 23rd June, 2021, the Kaduna Police Command received an unfortunate report from the Divisional Police in Kachia that “on the same date at about 2120hrs, some unknown armed bandits in large number bearing sophisticated weapons invaded Awon/Mothercat Junction in Kachia local government and started shooting indiscriminately at law abiding citizens who gathered for various legitimate activities.
According to him, the security team trailed the bandits to the outskirts of the village and rescued two persons whereas the remaining twelve were whisked away by the bandits to a yet to be identified location.
