Telecommunications firm, Globacom, yesterday, in Ibadan, Oyo State, and Onitsha, Anambra State, made two more subscribers owners of brand new cars, as its customer appreciation promo, Joy Unlimited Extravaganza, hit the cities.

The Ibadan car winner, 53-year-old auto mechanic, Mutiu Owolabi, could not control the tears of joy that cascaded down his face, as he received the car keys from Oyo State Deputy Governor Rauf Olaniyan and the company’s State Regional Activations Manager, Abidemi Emmanuel, at Idi Ape Gloworld in Ibadan.

Fifty-one other winners of household appliances, including television sets, power generators and refrigerators, also expressed gratitude to the firm, as they received their prizes in Ibadan, while 41 other winners were given the items they won at the Onitsha presentation. In the same vein, Rasheed Aweda Sunday, a 29 year- old mechanic, who won a refrigerator, said he was in his workshop when he received a call that he won. “I am too happy for words. May God continue to bless Globacom,” he said.
