Residents of Sapele and Ughelli on Saturday, woke up to find the corpses of two men with one identified as Godwin Iwere, reportedly murdered over a land dispute.
Iwere, found around Awolowo Extension by New Road, Sapele, was said to be an indigene of Koko, Warri North council area of Delta state, who resided in Sapele.The other corpse, The Nation gathered was found just before 2nd Amekpa Junction, along the Ughelli Section of the East-West Road, had slumped while working.The dead man, dressed in a red T-shirt and pair of trousers was still lying on the ground about midday Saturday, a witness stated.
