Truck crushes three to death in Ekiti

Three persons were crushed to death in an accident along Ilupeju – Itapa Road in the Oye Local Government Area of Ekiti State on Friday. The accident involved a truck and a motorbike conveying the three persons along the road.

A source said, “The bike was heading towards Ilupeju when the accident happened, killing the three men on it”. The Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, Ekiti State Sector, Olusola Joseph, confirmed the death of the three persons. “There was an accident along the route. It involved a bike conveying three persons and a truck. It claimed the lives of the three persons on the bike.“I learned that the truck was descending while the bike was ascending. We have not really been able to establish how it really happened.

“As I speak, men of the corps are on the way to the hospital in Ado Ekiti to deposit the dead bodies in the morgue,” the sector commander saidAll rights reserved.
