Rear Admiral Abiodun Olukoya CON, FSS, FWC was born 74 years ago in Ijebu Ode to the family of the Great Olukoya’s. He had Masters (MSc) in strategic studies from the University of Ibadan.

Olukoya enlisted into the Nigerian Navy in 1967 and retired after 32 years of meritorious service in 1999. While in the service, he had the privilege of serving at various levels in the Nigerian Navy.

He later became the Defence Attaché, Nigerian Embassy, Yaoundé Cameroun. Olukoya was appointed as the military governor of the Old Ondo State which comprises the present Ekiti and Ondo states by the former President, General Ibrahim Babangida. He also served during the period as chairman of O’dua Board of Directors from January 1991 – December 1991.He took over from Commodore Olabode George and handed over to Evang Bamidele Olumilua of blessed memory.

Olukoya also sits as the board of chairman of Several Companies, DGU Consult Limited, HSE Nations , Oakland and Johnson, amongst others. He also was the publisher of Real World Magazine, a magazine dedicated to celebrating God’s goodness.
