, the case dates back to a demolition exercise at Shangisha village between 1984 and 1985, after which a supreme court verdict ordered the state to give the Shangisha landlords 549 plots of land as a “matter of first priority”.
Sanwo-Olu had later arrived at the estate with some government officials, including Moyosore Onigbanjo, the attorney-general of Lagos. Responding, Oyewole said: “I’m here on the instruction of the inspector-general of police, through the AGF, sir. I’m too small or too low to call them. Your excellency, with due respect, you can call them directly.”
But the CSP insisted on his stance, saying “it is not my duty to call because I’m too low to do that.”
Sanwo Olu has seen his total uselessness clearly!!! Dem no send u! Either u stand up and fight for lagos to be a better place for everyone to coexist happily or u are trash in everybodys eyes. Dustbin! Now he see say he be puppet and dem no send am! Eye don clear!
Well I will not totally blame the CSP, he's under instruction. But...
jidesanwoolu The Governor should have directed his own accompanying officers to arrested the CSP until he can show written instruction from IGP n AGF.
jidesanwoolu Governor of a state that doesn't have power over the subject and predicate within his state, what a figure head.
jidesanwoolu Governor Sanwo Olu fucked up. Next time, you speak authoritatively.
jidesanwoolu Technically the police is under the IGP who is answerable to the FG. If we were talking of LASMAN here, Lagos state govt would have authority.
