Tottenham Hotspur banned Harry Kane from their training ground hours before he completed a £100m switch to Bayern Munich, the UK Telegraph reports.
Kane was informed via an email that it wouldn’t be appropriate for him to return to the training ground as the final aspects of his move were completed. It meant that Spurs’ record goalscorer was unable to bid farewell to his team-mates or staff members in person. Kane was also blocked from picking up any of his personal possessions and they were instead sent on to him.
Tottenham however insist Kane is welcome back, but his treatment may not go down well with the fanbase, many of whom held no ill feeling following his exit with the player having a mural painted in his honour opposite the stadium.
