administration will hold its second Federal Executive Council meeting tomorrow, Monday, October 15, having held the inaugural one almost one and a half months ago, August 28.gathered, from a senior source within the administration on Sunday, October 15, said that the meeting, which had been preceded by public anticipation, is expected to many of the approvals granted by President Tinubu since the last time it convened.
The source said: “It is holding tomorrow, at least that’s the last I heard and likelihood of any change is really slim. Mr President will be presiding over the FEC for the second time. It should start by 12pm and ministers are expected to have arrived before that time.“As to what might be on the agenda, I don’t know, but I suspect they will be ratifying some of the approvals already granted some ministries by Mr President.
Vice President Kashim Shettima will, however, not be sitting in today’s meeting, having departed for China yesterday , to represent President Tinubu at the 3rd Belt and Road Initiative .
