The President-elect, Bola Tinubu, has congratulated the Awujale and Paramount Ruler of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, on his 89th birthday.

“I rejoice with our royal father, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, the great Awujale of Ijebuland on his birthday. At 89, Kabiesi has received the immense grace and favour of God.

“I am happy that even though Kabiyesi is advanced in age, he is still at his duty post serving the people of Ijebuland with utmost dedication. In his 63 years reign, Oba Adetona brought dignity, honour and respect to the throne of Awujale to the admiration of all the sons and daughters of Ijebuland and Yorubaland in general.

“In any period of moral crisis, Oba Adetona always stands to be counted on the side of the people and country, and for this, Kabiesi earns my total respect. “I join the family, sons and daughters of Ijebuland and indeed all the admirers of Kabiyesi around the world to wish him a happy birthday and pray for more years in good health for him on the throne of his forebears.”All rights reserved. Tinubu Is On Medical Trip; He’s Not Yet President And Can’t Have Working Visit – Atiku Campaign Tackles ‘President-Elect’ Media Office | Sahara ReportersThe camp of Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has reacted to reports of the “President-elect”, Bola Tinubu departing Nigeria for Europe. Daniel Bwala, the PDP Campaign spokesman, revealed on Wednesday (just like SaharaReporters exclusively reported) that Tinubu’s trip was a medical follow-up and not a working trip, as stated by his media team. Bwala who made this known on his verified Twitter handle on Tuesday noted that calling Tinubu’s journey a working trip was wrong because he was not the president yet.
