Netherlands/Riyadh Trips News

President Bola Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu returned to the Presidential Villa, Abuja, in the early hours of yesterday after a two-week official trip out of the country.

Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame, Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Malaysia’s Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim sit on a panel during the World Economic Forum Special Meeting in Riyadh on April 28, 2024.

Curiosity was heightened after aides concluded arrangement to receive the President, but the return trip did not take place and officials kept mum. After his engagements in the Netherlands, the President proceeded to attend a special World Economic Forum meeting scheduled for April 28 and 29 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Although no official statement was issued on the President’s further engagements abroad, sources within the Presidency confirmed that he proceeded to London for a private visit. Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Rule, yesterday, clarified that his colleagues are not opposed to a new minimum wage for workers.

Chairman of Chisco Transport, Chidi Anyaegbu, has commended Governor Peter Mbah’s administration in Enugu State for its effort to reposition the transport and logistics sector.
