Tinubu had visited Fasoranti in his residence in Akure, the Ondo State capital two weeks ago where he received the endorsement of the elder statesman.
A furious Adebanjo, who earlier endorsed Labour Party’s presidential flag bearer, Peter Obi, aired his grievance on ‘Politics Today’, a popular programme on Channels Television barely 24 hours after Tinubu’s visit. “They have been on this plan for over a month and my members came to me to alert me about it and I said, ‘Don’t talk about it. “The real reason for Afenifere’s wrangling is Pa Adebanjo who rushed to endorse a candidate without proper consultation in the organisation to which he belongs.
Baba Adebanjo should have known that his support for Obi will not go down well with Afenifere members in APC. He should have consulted widely before coming out with a position.
Tinubu has used money to cause division in Afenifere as he has used money to strip Keyamo of his true activism.
Today he also allowed to use his platform to insult PA Adebanjo How about that ? fkeyamo
