President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has nominated former Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, as minister. Tinubu announced this in a letter addressed to Senate President Godswill Akpabio and read during plenary on Friday. The president also withdrew the ministerial nomination of Maryam Shetty from Kano and replaced her with Dr Mairiga Mahmud.…President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has nominated former Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, as minister.

The president also withdrew the ministerial nomination of Maryam Shetty from Kano and replaced her with Dr Mairiga Mahmud. This supplementary list comes as a continuation of the first list of the 28 ministerial nominees presented by Senate President Akpabio the previous week. Also, the Senate has already undertaken the screening process for the 28 nominees, including former governors Nasir El-Rufai and Dave Umahi , as well as Wale Edun, Uche Nnaji, Stella Okotete, Adebayo Adelabu, Ekperikpe Ekpo, Hannatu Musawa, and Musa Dangiwa.
