President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of 560 individuals as chairmen and members of the governing councils of federal governmen

t-owned tertiary institutions across the country.

The appointment was announced by the Permanent Secretary for General Services in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Nnamdi Mbaeri, in a statement released on Friday. The new appointees include Emmanuel Jekade , Kola Adefemi , Yayale Ahmed , Tony Nebo , Ndufu Alike , and Agboola Mojeed Olayiwola.

Odeleye Steven Abimbola , Barr Abdur-Raheem Adebayo Shittu , Hon. Hafiz Oladejo , H. E. Engr. Abdulrauf Olaniyan , Oyo, Oyo State), Engr. Asimiyu Alarape from Oke Ogun .
