Wife of former Senate President, Mrs Toyin Ojora-Saraki, says timely healthcare is vital for the survival of both mother and child in the country.
She spoke on Friday at the maiden edition of the PUNCH Digital Town Hall with the theme ‘Strengthening the Nigerian Maternal and Child Health through Clinical and Community-based Interventions’. The Founder and President of Wellbeing Foundation Africa, an organisation created with the aim of improving health outcomes for women, infants, and children, added that quality nutrition for both mother and child is also crucial in this regard.
“We must see an increase of healthcare facilities in Nigeria that ensures that people do not contract infections when they visit these facilities,” she added.
