Neil is the Nigeria representative for the international auction house – Bonhams. Based in Lagos, he plays a central role in advising key clients on modern and contemporary African art acquisitions. An avid art collector himself, Neil has been collecting modern African art for over 20 years and has made some exciting discoveries. One of them, was the magnificent Tutu by Ben Enwonwu sold by Bonhams in February 2018 for £1.2m at auction. Neil is passionate about discovering lost Nigerian masterpieces, and is currently involved in the research and documentation of the artworks of famous Nigerian modernists including Ben Enwonwu and Felix Idubor.
