A 17- year old teenager was on Wednesday arraigned by the Lagos State Government before the Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence

The teenager is facing a three-count charge bordering on defilement, abduction from the custody of parents and incapacitation to commit a felony.

The state prosecution counsel, Ms Abimbola Abolade, told the court that the defendant allegedly committed the offence between July 11 and 15, 2022 in the Ikotun area of Lagos. Abolade said that the defendant, with intent to have sexual intercourse, detained the alleged victim in his house against her wish.

The prosecutor also alleged that the defendant gave a liquid substance to the girl to incapacitate her.
