Commenting on the milestone, the acting Managing Director of TCN, Engr Sule Abdulaziz, said the contract for the supply of the transformers under the Nigerian Electricity Transmission Project was funded by the World Bank.Abdulaziz said on installation and connection to the national power grid, the 10 units of 60MVA 132/33kV power transformers will add 637 megawatts capacity while the five units of 150MVA 330/132kV transformers will add another 850MW to the transmission network.
